How long does the light last?

Our solar-powered products produce 5 hours of light at 500 lumens, or up to 200 hours of light when dimmed to 100 lumens and placed on energy-saving motion sensor mode.

What is the light temperature?

Our lighting products create a warm glow at color temperatures between 2700K and 3000K.

How does the Solar Module work?

The Solar Module has a solar panel on top that feeds 2 large lithium batteries. Once the batteries are charged via sun or USB port, the power travels through electronic circuits and processors, activating the LED light. The Solar Module also has two different setting capabilities. The first is the built-in motion sensor that turns the pathway light up a brighter setting when a person passes, and then back to its energy-saving, low-power mode once they pass. The second forces the module on to light, so long as the batteries allow it. If batteries are low, a solar or USB charge will replenish them.

How long does it take to recharge the module?

Depending on your location and the season, it can take between 7 hours of sun exposure to a few days to recharge your solar module. Keep in mind that if your lamp is primarily kept outside during the day, it never stops charging while the sun is out!

How do I change the settings on my lantern or lamp?

MODE 1: When the light blinks once after 1 click, the solar module is set to its energy-saving motion sensor setting. The light will automatically turn on at night to a low-setting brightness. If movement is detected, it will increase the brightness to the maximum light setting for 30 seconds. Long press in Mode 1: This changes the brightness of the low energy-saving mode, anywhere between 0% to 60%. Continue pressing the button to pass this step.
MODE 2: Click TwiceAfter 2 consecutive clicks, the light blinks twice, which sets the solar module to the forced On setting. The light turns on to your desired brightness setting until the battery charge goes too low. Long press in Mode 2: This changes the brightness, which can dim anywhere between 1% to 100%.

Setting User Preferences in Mode 1

In Mode 1, the standard low-power mode setting allows the light to be powered on all night long in the summer at 25% brightness. To reset the brightness setting in Mode 1, click into Mode 1 (1 blink), then hold down the button to change the brightness to your personal lighting preference. When holding the button, the brightness level will cycle from 0% to 60%, then 60% to 0%.

How long does a full charge last?

You can get up to 5-200 hours of light per charge, depending on the mode and power setting selected. Standby and motion sensor modes will last longer than full light mode. The powerful lithium-ion batteries last for at least eight hours in optimal conditions and are rechargeable within 7 hours via Micro USB port or the light of the sun.

Do the lights contain motion detectors?

Yes, our Solar Module includes a motion detector within the reach of 20 feet.

Will my solar light charge itself while outside during the day?

In optimal weather conditions, your solar light will automatically self-charge when left outdoors.

What’s the best way to clean my solar light?

Because our lights are usually left outdoors, they can gather quite a bit of dust and dirt. We recommend using a simple damp cloth and taking great care when cleaning the surfaces of both your light frame and solar module.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Les Jardins Solar products are warranted against defect for 1 year (from the date of purchase). The fabrication number needs to be saved for warranty inquiries. The warranty is voided with unexpected uses such as total immersion or visible damage to the module.

How can I check the status of my order?

In-stock merchandise generally ships from our warehouse within 5 business days. To check the status of an existing order, please email us at contact@lesjardins.us or by phone at 1-833-JARDINS.

How are shipping and handling charges calculated?

We’ve partnered with FedEx to deliver your solar products as safely and efficiently as possible. Shipping rates will vary and are determined by delivery location, package weight, and Threshold or In-Home delivery options. Please note that we cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, online orders can only be shipped throughout the United States. For international orders, please contact us via email at contact@lesjardins.us or by phone at 1-833-JARDINS

Can I pick up an online order from an authorized Les Jardins retailer?

Unfortunately, we do not have an option to place online orders for local pickup. Our retail partners operate separately from our e-commerce site. All of our merchandise ships directly from our U.S. warehouse located in Southern California.

What is your Return Policy?

If there is a problem with your order, we want to make it right immediately. Please contact our Customer Care team via email at contact@lesjardins.us or by phone at 1-833-JARDINS within 5 days of delivery. If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will pay for return shipping and exchange the product free of charge. You may also choose to ask for a refund.
*For the return of non-defective merchandise, you are responsible for freight cost to ship the item back to Les Jardins. Return items MUST arrive in unused/new condition in original packaging to be eligible for credit. A 15% restocking fee applies. Please include a copy of your invoice marked “Return for Credit” with the product. All returned products must pass inspection by Les Jardins Solar return team prior to being approved for credit/exchange.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

In-stock items normally ship within 3 days once an order has been placed online. Because of this turnaround time, we can only accept cancellations for items that have not yet shipped or are on backorder status. If an order has already left our warehouse, it unfortunately cannot be cancelled or changed.

What if I receive incorrect or damaged merchandise?

If your shipment includes defective, damaged, or incorrect items, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make things right. Please call our Customer Care team via email at contact@lesjardins.us or by phone at 1-833-JARDINS with your order number and photos of the damage, if applicable. Please retain all items and packaging materials until your claim is resolved. If your replacement item is backordered or out of stock, we’ll notify you as soon as we have the estimated arrival date, or we may work with you to suggest a suitable replacement.

How do I change or cancel an order?
